Message From: Sam May 4, 2011 Just wanted to say hi from all of us coonhound owners in Canada. Think your doing a great job. We adopted our bluetick from a pound up here. They were going to put her down because she was "spoiled and untrainable". We have had her about 18 months and have been able to train her just fine. Coonies are great, goofy, snugglers. Far smarter than the average dog, I mean how many dogs can train people to think they are untrainable. LOL! Keep up the good work. We volunteer at our local no-kill shelter and just don't understand why coonhounds have to wait and wait for homes. They are great dogs. Message From: Scott February 10, 2009 Update: Feb. 2009. Tucker continues to thrive and is loved by all. My wife thought it was time to not have animals, haveing become "empty nesters," but she really loves this dog. I would argue with the description on the early pages, though. Tucker was our easiest to train dog, ever. He is perfect on a leash, does a ton of tricks, listens -- virtually perfect. Maybe we were just lucky, or perhaps I have gotten good at this at my age, but truly, he was a dream to train. I was prepared to spend money for help but it was totally unnecessary with Tucker. Anyway, thanks Vikki. 2+ years now and we couldn't have hoped for a better dog and friend. Message From: Diane May 7, 2008 Wendy(to you Bug-a-Boo) looks wonderful. You have done a marvalous job bringing a poor pitiful pup back to life. I thank-you for rescuing her after I rescued her. I hope she finds a fantastic home.
