I have to admit, I had my doubts about this boy. Luckily he proved me wrong. This crazy boy who was like a yoyo on a leash and I swear he could run around the sides of the walls and bounced everywhere else has become a wonderful dog! Jack Rabbit is a one year old American Foxhound. He is an active boy who loves to play with other dogs and would love an active young family.
Jack is house and crate trained and has good basic manners. We are working on more advanced training, as he loves it. Jack loves to be outside in any weather and takes all his toys out to the yard to play with, however he can climb a fence very quickly, so he needs to be on a tie-out. In the house, Jack is content to hang out on the couch with his buddy Harper and chew on a bone, or just nap.
Jack Rabbit loves to go to new places. He loves the off leash dog park and trips to the pet stores. He does well meeting new dogs. Jack is very curious and intelligent, he'll need and owner who can figure out how to keep him amused, which is why another playful dog or a houseful of kids would be great for him.
